My sermons at Salem Friends are usually about 15-20 minutes. I use a variety of styles. Often my sermons will be written out. Those are easiest to share here. Perhaps I will offer a series preached extemporaneously (from notes/outline) and record them to place here. I joke about my sermons being intellectual sometimes due to an occupational hazard. I try to include relevant stories and even a bit of humor now and again.

Here's a sermon I delivered on air for WPET, Greensboro, NC. It was recorded to cassette as it was streamed over the internet. The radio station is a Southern Gospel station and the time slot is a Prayer Hour. My homiletical dissertation sounds like it had mood music playing -- a strange combination. In the middle of my sermon, Gloria put her coat on and left. She quickly returned with a bottle of water for me.
